The NJA welcomes the Tea House Theatre’s decision to withdraw as the host of an event featuring known antisemite Alison Chabloz.
Chabloz was given a 20-week prison sentence in 2018 after being found guilty of broadcasting antisemitic songs on YouTube that promoted Holocaust denial and labeled Auschwitz as a “theme park.” Chabloz has also promulgated antisemitic stereotypes in a songs, and in 2021 was jailed after sending offensive messages by public network.
The NJA commends the work of the Campaign Against Antisemitism for bringing the scheduled event to public attention.
