The National Jewish Assembly (“the NJA”) is unique in the UK, as there is no other congressional Jewish body where anyone who is Jewish and who adheres to the three pillars referred to above can join, upon paying a membership subscription. It provides our members with a great opportunity to have their voices heard through debate at our meetings and through proposing motions to make policy, with the eventual aim of influencing our country’s decision-makers. The NJA is run by an Advisory Board and supported by professional staff.
We also work with other Jewish and pro Israel groups, both in the UK and worldwide, to help achieve our objectives. In line with this, we have affiliated to the European Jewish Association.
Members of the NJA are free to join our committees which campaign on matters relating to Jewish life, Israel and fighting antisemitism. See Committees.
Additionally, we have set up a Young NJA for those 30 years old and under, which has its own suite of activities and lower membership prices (see Young NJA).
