“The Heroes of October 7” is one of many new books in Israel about the war, but only a handful of these are aimed at children and young adults.
The illustrated, hardcover contains 71 true stories of heroic acts by both military and civilian figures on October 7, a day that saw thousands of Hamas-led terrorists break into southern Israel in an early-morning surprise assault.
Proceeds from the “The Heroes of October 7” project are donated to Brothers for Life, an organisation dedicated to rehabilitating IDF soldiers injured in the line of duty.
