Escalating Attacks, Evasive Leadership — Labour’s Failure to Confront the Threat
Following the attempted firebombing of Finchley Reform Synagogue, we warned this was not an isolated incident. That warning has now been realised.
In the days since, at least three Jewish sites in northwest London have been targeted in attempted arson attacks. This is not random. It is not sporadic. It is escalating.
The Prime Minister has responded with condemnation and promises of increased security. After repeated attacks in rapid succession, that is no longer sufficient. It is avoidance.
Because the central issue remains untouched.
The same Islamist group has claimed responsibility for these attacks and a drone targeting of the Israeli Embassy in London, with possible links to Iran under investigation. This points to ideology, coordination, and intent.
The pattern is clear. The targeting is clear. The drivers are increasingly clear.
This is the reality of Islamist extremism having taken root within Britain — an environment in which hostility toward Jewish and Israeli targets is normalised and acted upon.
Yet still, Labour refuses to speak plainly about it.
Instead, ministers fall back on familiar lines while avoiding the question in front of them: what is driving this escalation, and why it is being allowed to deepen.
This is no longer a question of awareness. The facts are known. The pattern is visible.
Because repeated attacks on Jewish sites, within days of each other, are being met with hesitation and deliberate ambiguity. What is being protected is not public safety, but political comfort.
And that is not a failure of circumstance. It is a political choice.
If the government will not act with clarity, then it must be compelled to. Our campaign to proscribe the IRGC is focused on confronting the networks and ideology driving this threat.
